An ideal spot in France to spend a relaxing week in the sun. The surrounding areas are beautiful and all the advice we received from Janet ensured that we made the most of our week. A great welcome from Janet with lots of information about what to do locally. High quality accommodation in a very quiet restful place. Wifi worked well so great for our older children (16 +23) And they also liked the gym! Travelled to Amboise and Chateau Charmant as well as Loches and Descartes museum. A fantastic week. Beautiful weather and peace and tranquility. Just what we aere after! Sunny evenings, BBQ, and plenty of wine! The children (9 and 11) loved market day in Loche and the Donjon. Their favourite place was the swimming pools in Descartes where we spent three amazing aftrnoons – one day with 5 pools to ourselves! We all feel fully recharged – if a little heavier!

We have had a wonderful ten days in accommodation that perfectly met our needs. A secure garden (+ child gates) were perfect for our dog and the house had all that was needed for a beautiful stay:- bbq, washing machine, strong Wifi, satellite, gym etc. and the location was perfect. Rural peace but short drives to towns like Loches and Chinon. Thank you to you, Janet and Stephen for making us feel very welcomed. Also for being on hand for our questions, but giving us the space for a lazy, wine glass filled holiday!

We have spent a wonderful week here in The Two Arches. This area is full of places of interest: Da Vinci Museum in Amboise, the old town of Tours, Futuroscope and more and more. We highly recommend Angles su Anglain – a beautiful village. The highlight of the week was the bird show in Zoo Parc BEAUVAL – not to be missed. L’accueil de Janet fût très chaleureux – une aide très précieuse pour choisir nos sites à visiter.

We can’t speak too highly of the Gite and the helpfulness of Janet and Stephen. As above this was the first French holiday to our labradoodle CASSI and everywhere we went she was welcomed. Walks in the area are delightful and the trips to the Loire need no recommendations – Chinonceau, Tours, Losches market on Wednedsday is a must. Janet’s recommendations for restaurants are all solid. We’ll absolutely come back.

The location is central to all we wanted to see and the gite has everything you could possibly want. We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of Les Arches and especially your patio and the BBQ. After many restaurant meals it was nice to relax and enjoy our own cooking. It is a beautiful setting and you can discover something scenic around every bend in the road!

A lovely relaxing time. Rainbow Arch is a super place to stay and a wonderful calm atmosphere. The whole gite is cleverly arranged and most thoughtfully furnished.
We went to Loches and ate at ‘La Lanterne’ (closed on Monday). Very nice. The Simply supermarket in Ligueil has a good butcher’s counter and everything you need. We enjoyed pleasant walks nearby; this place has all you want for a good holiday. Many thanks

Un accueil formidable de Janet avec beaucoup d'informations sur les activités locales. Logement de haute qualité dans un endroit très calme et reposant. Le Wifi a bien fonctionné, ce qui a été très utile à nos enfants plus âgés (16 +23 ans) et ils ont aussi aimé la salle de sport ! Nous sommes allés à Amboise et au Château Charmant, ainsi qu'à Loches et au musée Descartes. Le temps était excellent aussi, donc dans l'ensemble une belle visite. J'espère revenir !

Nous avons passé dix jours merveilleux dans un logement qui répondait parfaitement à nos besoins. Un jardin sécurisé (+ barrières pour enfants) était parfait pour notre chien et la maison avait tout ce qu'il fallait pour un beau séjour : bbq, machine à laver, Wifi puissant, satellite, salle de sport etc. et l'emplacement était parfait. La paix rurale mais de courts trajets en voiture vers des villes comme Loches et Chinon. Merci à vous, Janet et Stephen pour nous avoir fait sentir très bien accueillis. Et aussi d'être à portée de main pour nos questions, tout en nous laissant l'espace pour des vacances paresseuses et pleines de verres de vin !

Un séjour vraiment merveilleux à Angel's Arch. Un si beau gîte. Chaleureux, accueillant, relaxant et moderne. Nous ne pouvons pas dire trop de bien du gîte et de la serviabilité de Janet et Stephen. Comme indiqué ci-dessus, c'était les premières vacances en France de notre labrador CASSI et partout où nous sommes allés, elle a été bien accueillie. Les promenades dans la région sont délicieuses et les excursions dans la Loire n'ont pas besoin de recommandations - Chinonceau, Tours, le marché de Losches le mercredi est un must. Les recommandations de Janet pour les restaurants sont toutes solides. Nous reviendrons absolument.

L'emplacement est central pour tout ce que nous voulions voir et le gîte a tout ce que vous pourriez vouloir. Nous avons apprécié la paix et la tranquillité des Arches et surtout votre patio et le BBQ. Après de nombreux repas au restaurant, il était agréable de se détendre et d'apprécier notre propre cuisine. C'est un cadre magnifique et vous pouvez découvrir quelque chose de pittoresque à chaque virage de la route !

Un agréable moment de détente. Rainbow Arch est un super endroit pour séjourner et une atmosphère merveilleusement calme. L'ensemble du gîte est astucieusement aménagé et meublé de façon très soignée.
Nous sommes allés à Loches et avons mangé à 'La Lanterne' (fermé le lundi). Très agréable. Le supermarché Simply à Ligueil a une bonne boucherie et tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Nous avons fait d'agréables promenades dans les environs ; cet endroit a tout ce qu'il faut pour de bonnes vacances. Merci beaucoup.
